We are committed to matching the right dog to the right family so all will have many years together. Our adoption process includes the completion of an application, video interview, veterinary reference, home visit, adoption fee and contract. The standard adoption fee is $545 for all dogs except seniors. The adoption fee covers all age appropriate vetting, including spay/neutering, transport, medical care, shelter fees and food costs. We reserve the right to refuse any applicant for any reason, if we feel the needs of the dog will not be met or the adoption is not in the best interest of the dog. All animals in the home MUST be up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered. We do NOT place dogs as emotional support animals (ESA) or service dogs. Please Note: Any question marked with * MUST be completed. 

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ADOPT TO MA RESIDENTS DUE TO MA IMPORTATION LAWS.

While Caleb's Opus has made every effort to provide accurate history and assessment of all dogs, Caleb's Opus is not able to guarantee any dog's age, breed, medical status or history, behavior or disposition.


I/We hereby release Caleb's Opus and its directors, and representatives of any and all possible claims arising from injury or damage cause by any dog adopted by me/us to any person or property or relating to health or temperament of the dog, including any expenses related thereto. I/We attest that the information provided on this application is true and accurate to the best of my/our knowledge. I/We attest that we have read and understand that completion and submission of this application does not guarantee adoption of a rescue dog.
